Northeast Albuquerque

Northeast Albuquerque is one of the most established and sought after areas of town. Resting along the foot of the Sandia Mountains with its spectacular views of the city and the Rio Grande Valley, this area is conveniently located to Old Town, the Airport, and Downtown Albuquerque. Land here is at a premium and this area is much more built out than other areas of town. So, finding new homes here can be a challenge. But the resale homes are some of the most desirable in the Albuqeurque Area.

SANDIA HEIGHTS A newer custom home development on larger lots in the northeast area of the city. Home styles are primarily southwestern and feature amazing views of the city and mountains. North Albuquerque Acres is a more noted development within this region. Home prices in these areas average $419,000 to $800,000.

FAR NE HEIGHTS This area contains some of the most newest and affluent neighborhoods. The most noted communities are Tanoan (an established gated community with golf course) and High Desert (a new development on the flank of Sandia Mountain). Home prices in these areas typically average $235,000 to $610,000. Recent sales average in the $270,000 range.

NORTHEAST HEIGHTS A very wide range in age and style of homes. There are parks in most neighborhoods. This area offers easy access to shopping and a quick commute to many major employers. The average home price in these areas typically range from $210,000 to $329,000. Recent sales average in the $150,000 range.

FOOTHILLS NORTH & SOUTH This area contains mostly older homes on lush lots. The most notable area within this region is Four Hills, which contains older homes of southwestern and ranch styles. Home prices in these areas average $275,000 to $397,000.

NORTH ALBUQUERQUE ACRES This area is notable for it's gorgeous newer custom homes and upscale neighborhoods. Located near the base of the Sandia Mountains, this area is known for both incredible mountain views and views of the volcanos and mesa to the west. Home prices in this area average $259,000 to $597,000.
